Terms and Conditions – Holiday Lets
The following terms and conditions form the basis of the contract between Premier Rentals and the Renter. Return of the completed Booking Confirmation and payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Renter.
- AVAILABILITY & SUITABILITY – You should confirm the availability of the selected property with us prior to making any firm travel arrangements. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the property you choose is suitable for your use by confirming any specicifc requirements, for example mobility needs, children etc, prior to confirming the reservation and paying the deposit.
- RESERVATION & PAYMENT – Once we have acknowledged your reservation verbally, the property will be marked “Provisionally Booked” and a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking and secure the reservation. On receipt of cleared deposit funds, a Booking Confirmation will be sent to you with full details of the booking and a schedule for payment of the balance, including any optional extras. Your chosen property will be marked “Booked or Unavailable” on all websites. The balance of the rent must be paid to reach our account at least 6 weeks prior to your holiday start date. You will be sent a reminder by email. At this time we also require a Damage Deposit of 200 euros which will be refunded no more than 14 days after your departure so long as the property is left in the same condition as when you arrived. If a property is being booked less than 6 weeks prior to arival, full payment is required upon booking. Payments can be accepted by bank transfer or credit card. A 2% bank charge will be applied to all card payments. In some circumstances i.e. last minute booking, cash payment on arrival in euros can be arranged.
- INSURANCE – Whilst we actively encourage our owners to take out Public Liability Insurance, your accommodation price does NOT include holiday insurance cover. It it your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate travel and medical insurance for the duration of your stay. Note also that the E.111 card (application form obtained at your local Post Office) which is essential for all travellers within Europe, only provides cover for emergency treatment. If you are unable to produce valid E.111 on arrival at a hospital, or if you need non-emergency treatment you will be required to pay at the time.
- CANCELLATION POLICY – If you or any member of your party cancel the booking for any reason the deposit will be forfeit. Cancellation must be done in writing and sent by registered post, or email. Thereafter cancellations will be refunded as shown below.
45 days or more - Full refund of any balance paid
30 - 45 days – 50% of Balance paid
0 - 30 days – 0% of Balance paid
Bookings are transferable with a 45 euros administration fee. (ie. if you cancel but find another person to rent the property). We recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover against unforeseen circumstances
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The property is to be used by the named people on the booking confirmation for the purpose of a holiday only. If additional people are found to be using the property without prior arrangement with Premier Rentals, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday rental agreement and evict all visitors from the property. Sub-letting is not permitted.
- A reasonable standard of dress and behaviour is expected. Many of our properties are situated within a community or urbanisation. In these cases Renters must by the Community Rules at all times which are posted prominently in communal areas. If we receive complaints from neighbours or residents which cannot be resolved we reserve the right to terminate the holiday agreement and evict all visitors.
- Damage deposits will be refunded once the property has been checked and cleaned. Renters are responsible for notifying Premier Rentals of any damage on arrival or that occurs during their stay so that it can be rectified quickly. Damage discovered at the end of the letting period will be notified to the Renter by email. We expect properties to be left in a reasonable condition so that they can be quickly prepared for the next guests. If additional cleaning is required such as removal of excess or unsanitary rubbish, or dirty ovens/barbecues/kitchen equipment this will be charged against the deposit. Use of electricity is monitored and excessive use of air-conditioning or heating units will be charged against the deposit.
- All of our properties are privately owned and as such may be of varying standards regarding furniture, fixtures and fittings and descriptions on our website are accurate at the time of publishing. However Premier Rentals cannot be held responsible should the owner remove their property from the rental market or change the furnishing or facilities between booking and arrival. In these circumstances, Premier Rentals will endeavour to find suitable alternative accommodation; if this is not possible a full refund will be offered. We are unable to offer any compensation for expenses incurred as a result of cancelling flights or booking alternative accommodation through another party.
- The property will normally be available for your use from 16:00hrs on your arrival day and up to 12:00hrs on your departure day. By prior arrangement with Premier Rentals these times can be flexible to coincide with your flight times. Normally a staff member of Premier Rentals will meet you at the holiday property to deliver and collect the keys and directions to a suitable meeting point will be sent to you beforehand. Please note, however, that arrivals and departures outside office hours may be charged at 30€.
- The rental costs include the provision of one set of bed linen, bath and hand-towels per person. Unless they use our Baggage Saver service, Renters will be expected to bring their own beach/pool towels. A fee for housekeeping and laundry, covering servicing at the end of your stay is usually included within your accommodation price, however with certain properties this may be charged extra, please check on booking. For stays longer than a week a linen change can be provided mid-way through your holiday at an additional cost of 10€ per person.
- Properties are typically located in residential districts so construction work may occasionally occur nearby. This work is carried out by home owners or contractors with whom we have no relationship whatsoever and over whom we cannot exert any control. Neither the property owner nor Premier Rentals can be held liable for inconvenience caused by any construction work not commissioned by the accommodation provider.
- In the unlikely event of a break in the electricity or water supply to the property our liability is limited to endeavouring to resolve the problem as soon as possible. In extreme circumstances alternative accommodation and/or refunds may be arranged subject to prior consent of the property owner.
- Premier Rentals reserve the right, after giving the Renter prior notice of intent, to inspect the property at any time during their stay.
- Properties are rented through Premier Rentals for use on a Self Catering basis. As such Renters are expected to keep the property and its contents in a clean and presentable state during their stay, and to deal with minor problems which may occur. More serious complaints or problems at the property should immediately be reported to Premier Rentals to give us an opportunity to resolve them promptly. We cannot action complaints received after departure except in the event of non-action by Premier Rentals following a verbal complaint made during your stay. In this case the complaint must be made in writing within one week of departure. Under no circumstances will refunds be made if you leave the property prematurely, obtain other accommodation, or incur any other costs without first consulting a Premier Rentals representative. Refunds may be made only with the permission of the property owner.
- Premier Rentals are not liable for any injury or theft at any property, although we will endeavour to assist in providing interpreters for hospital and police visits if necessary.
