Listed below are some of our favourite places within urbanisations and commercial centres
Mar Azul - Restaurante Christopher - International restaurant with a great reputation and never fails to impress. You will find things on the menu here you won´t see anywhere else, and daily specials include locally caught fish and lobster. Friendly staff, excellent food, need I say more?
Las Ocas – La Finca de Eduardos – superb setting with three terraces outside and a pool bar and barbeque. Nice atmosphere, food is classic, presentation and service are excellent. A lovely evening out.
La Zenia beachside – Indigo – In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in the area. Superb food with sharing options for starters, speciality dishes and excellent service. Even die-hard Chicken Tikka Masala fans will be tempted to try something new.
Los Dolses – Los Cucalos - Typical Spanish restaurant with a huge conservatory and kids play area. Menu del Dia or A la Carte menu, the portions are huge! I can never resist the roast lamb which is cooked to perfection. Yumm… For the best atmosphere go on Sunday lunchtimes, its always heaving with Spanish families.
La Rioja – Interim – Great little restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. Limited menu including set-price options but you still find it hard to choose, its all so good! Have tried most things on the menu and never been disappointed.
Villamartin Plaza – Several excellent restaurants here, our pick of the bunch would be Che, Bogeys, The Square, La Plaza and Eduardos, see our info page.
El Galan – Captains Table - Specialising in fish and chips the portions are huge and the fish is very tasty in a light, crispy batter. Open all day and in the evenings with a large and pretty patio area out the back.
Las Filipinas – Maritaos Kitchen – Eastern cuisine including Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes, all cooked and served to perfection. Live music on the terrace at weekends in he summer.
