Nicky´s Bar – Los Dolses CC

James and Sharon took over management of this Los Dolses “legend” just a year ago and already they are drawing the locals and holiday-makers back in. The inside has had a facelift and now looks smart but warm, the terrace has comfortable seating and lots of colour with pot plants in full bloom.

Not wishing to change a former winning formula too much, James and Sharon nonetheless want to “put their own stamp” on it and to make improvements reflecting suggestions from their customers. They have introduced Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm and simple bar meals are available late into the evening.  Regulars may remember James (Goulding) as the cheeky singer and karaoke guy who regularly pulled in the crowds on Thursdays and Saturdays. Now semi-retired due to other commitments (behind the bar) James has enlisted other acts to appear on different evenings during the week.

In the past we ourselves have enjoyed many great fun nights (and indeed early mornings!) in Nicky´s with a great bunch of friendly people and were sad when the hugely popular previous owners Jim, Rita and Katrina left but we are sure James and Sharon are on track to bring Nicky´s back to its former glory and we wish them well…mine´s a large vino.
